Nispero 2010
(Umbria)
Sangiovese (90%), Merlot (10%)
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Nispero shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little
transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of black cherry, plum and blueberry followed by
aromas of violet, strawberry, vanilla, carob and menthol. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is
persistent with flavors of black cherry, plum and blueberry. Nispero ages
in cask for 6 months. |
