Barbera d'Alba Superiore Canova 2007
Barbera d'Alba (Piedmont)
Barbera d'Alba Superiore Canova shows an intense ruby red color and nuances
of ruby red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing

followed by aromas of blueberry, vanilla, tobacco, chocolate, pink pepper,
cinnamon and mace. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic
attack and pleasing crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of
cherry, plum and blueberry. Barbera d'Alba Superiore Canova ages for 18
months in cask followed by an aging in bottle for 3 months. |
