Barbera d'Alba Superiore Canova 2010
Barbera d'Alba (Piedmont)
Barbera d'Alba Superiore Canova shows a brilliant ruby red color and
nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum
and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, pink
pepper, cinnamon and hints of vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with
flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. Barbera d'Alba Superiore Canova ages
for 18 months in cask followed by at least 3 months of aging in bottle. |
