Wine Making and Sensorial Tasting

In this class, made of two lessons of two hours and a half each, participants will be introduced to wine sensorial tasting and basic wine making techniques. Lessons, in which will be discussed white and red wines, are divided in two parts. The first part is dedicated to wine making and will be curated by Dr. Maurilio Chioccia, famous and renowned wine maker of Vallantica, and will be covered the fundamental concepts of white and red wine production.
The second part, curated by Antonello Biancalana, enogastronomer, wine writer and chief editor of DiWineTaste, will cover the theory and practice of white and red wine sensorial tasting. A chance to improve your skill and awareness of consumers as well as improving your wine culture. Wines of the tasting are all produced by Vallantica: Barbacane 2007, Vallantica Bianco 2007, Arcoleone 2007, Vallantica Rosso 2007 and Gemine 2007.
At the end of each lesson a small buffet will be offered to all participants and made by Vallantica chefs.
