The wine has an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little
transparency. The nose reveals clean, intense and refined aromas, good
elegance, where are mainly perceived aromas of jams such as black cherry
jam, blackberry jam and strawberry jam followed by good aromas of black
cherry macerated in alcohol, caramel, cocoa, plum, dried violet, pink pepper and
vanilla. In mouth is intense with good correspondence to the nose, tannic
attack however balanced by alcohol, full bodied. The finish is persistent
with pleasing flavors of plum and black cherry jam. A well made wine. This
Amarone is aged for 36 months in casks and for 8-12 months in bottle.
