Valpolicella (Veneto) The wine has an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose reveals clean, intense and refined aromas, good elegance, where are mainly perceived aromas of jams such as black cherry jam, blackberry jam and strawberry jam followed by good aromas of black cherry macerated in alcohol, caramel, cocoa, plum, dried violet, pink pepper and vanilla. In mouth is intense with good correspondence to the nose, tannic attack however balanced by alcohol, full bodied. The finish is persistent with pleasing flavors of plum and black cherry jam. A well made wine. This Amarone is aged for 36 months in casks and for 8-12 months in bottle.
