Anthos 2012
(Piedmont)
Brachetto
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Anthos shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of cherry pink,
moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of grape, strawberry and rose followed
by aromas of cherry, raspberry, cyclamen, peach and plum. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The
finish is persistent with flavors of grape, strawberry and cherry. Anthos
ages for 8 months in steel tanks. |
