Barbera d'Alba (Piedmont)
Barbera d'Alba La Foia shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances f ruby
red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing
aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and violet followed by aromas
of blueberry, vanilla and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of
cherry, plum and blueberry. Barbera d'Alba La Foia ages for 6 months in
barrique. |
