Score: ✧✧✧ |
Rosso di Montepulciano Fossolupaio shows a brilliant ruby red color and
nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean
and pleasing aromas that start with hints of black cherry, raspberry and
violet followed by aromas of plum, rose and blueberry. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack and however balanced
by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of black cherry, raspberry and blueberry. Rosso di
Montepulciano Fossolupaio ages for 6 months in steel tanks followed by 3
months of aging in bottle. |
