La Stipula Rosé Brut Metodo Classico 2004
(Basilicata)
Aglianico
|
Sparkling Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
La Stipula shows an intense cherry pink color and nuances of cherry pink,
very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose denotes intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of cherry,
strawberry and raspberry followed by aromas of cyclamen, yeast, blackberry
and plum. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp and
effervescent attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, strawberry and
raspberry. The base wine used for the production of La Stipula ages for 7
months in barrique followed by 18 months of refermentation in bottle. |
