Ca' Rugate: Soave and Valpolicella Wines

A successful evening has characterized the reprise of DiWineTaste's enogastronomical events. These were the comments expressed with satisfaction by the about 100 people who took part to the event dedicated to the Soave and Valpolicella wines from Ca' Rugate, the excellent winery run by the Tessari family with passion. Dr. Giorgia Costa, representing Ca' Rugate, took part to the event and illustrated the history and productive philosophy aspects of her winery. The wines presented in the course of the event, illustrated by Antonello Biancalana during the sensorial tasting moments and introduction of dishes expressly created for each wine, will be hardly forgotten by participants. Soave Classico San Michele 2005 and Soave Classico Monte Fiorentine 2005 have started the event, showing from the very first moments the excellent quality of Ca' Rugate's wines. A quality which was widely confirmed by the introduction of the first red, Valpolicella Rio Albo 2005, in a "crescendo" of emotions offered by the excellent Amarone della Valpolicella 2003 and by Recioto della Valpolicella L'Eremita 2004: two wines which fully expressed the quality of the extraordinary Valpolicella's red grape - Corvina - and Ca' Rugate's style.
