The bubbles of the three Bersi Serlini's Franciacortas, and the refined Nuvola Demi-Sec, have certainly left a pleasing and surprising memory to the participants of this event. The evening began with Franciacorta Extra Brut 2000, which allowed participants to fully appreciate the quality of the prestigious winery of Provaglio d'Iseo. The event has continued with the excellent Franciacorta Brut Vintage 2000 - the new and elegant Franciacorta of Bersi Serlini - which surprised participants with its personality and for which was shown the highest appreciation. Remarkable appreciation has also been shown for Franciacorta Brut Cuvée 4, the only of the three Franciacortas to be produced with a wine aged in barrique. The sweet touch of the event has been assigned to the refined Nuvola Demi-Sec, which, with its lovely sweetness, has been a wonderful match for the evening's dessert. The event, as usual, has been conducted by Antonello Biancalana, who created for the occasion a menu made of fish and prepared by Locanda dei Golosi's staff. The end of the evening has been dedicated to the cooks and staff of Locanda dei Golosi who have greeted participants with a suggestive torchlight walk.
