The two main stars of the event, Brunello di Montalcino 2001 and Sant'Antimo Rosso SummuS 2001, will be remembered with pleasure by the about one hundred participants of the evening, in which has been possible to know about the quality of Castello Banfi's wines. Dr. Michela Dominici - Castello Banfi's hospitality manager - took part to the event and illustrated the important historical and productive aspects of her winery to participants. The evening began with Banfi Brut's bubbles, the excellent classic method sparkling wine of the Strevi estate, followed by Sant'Antimo Rosso Cum Laude, both matched with the foods especially created for the occasion. After this excellent premise, participants appreciated the rich aromas and elegance of Brunello di Montalcino which preceded Sant'Antimo Rosso Summus: two wines which have been very successful. The event has been ended by Moscadello di Montalcino Florus which gave the evening a final touch of sweetness and finesse.
As usual, the tastings of the five wines have been conducted by Antonello Biancalana who led participants to the charming sensorial journey of Castello Banfi's wines.
