Roberto Scubla's wines have fully confirmed the quality and elegance this great friulan producer unfailingly offers to wine lovers every year. Whites of impeccable elegance and reds of class and structure, have preceded the extraordinary Verduzzo Friulano Crątis, which fascinated the over one hundred participants to the event with its perfect symphony of aromas and magic. The evening began with Colli Orientali del Friuli Pinot Bianco 2005, followed by the very good Bianco Pomčdes 2004, which met with success the appreciation of participants. The evening continued with the tasting of the two reds - conducted, as usual, by Antonello Biancalana - began from Merlot 2004 and followed by the extraordinary Rosso Scuro 2001: a great wine of great class and elegance. The event ended with the excellent Verduzzo Friulano Crątis 2003: a real nectar of rare elegance and finesse, expressed by the richness of its aroma and a virtually endless persistence. As usual, the wines of the evening have been matched with the dishes expressly created for the occasion by Antonello Biancalana and prepared by the Locanda dei Golosi's chefs, led by Chef Emiliano Buccolini.
