The event dedicated to Giampaolo Tabarrini's wines, who in recent years has been everywhere successful with his Sagrantinos, was rich of surprises and characterized by two preview tasting reserved to DiWineTaste's readers: Adarmando 2006 and Sagrantino di Montefalco Colle Grimaldesco 2004. The event - to which took part Mr. Giampaolo Tabarrini who illustrated to the over 100 participants his winery and the production of his wines - begun with Adarmando 2006, the excellent white wine obtained with the autochthonous Trebbiano Spoletino grape. This interesting wine, the first of the two preview tasting, has surprised everyone for its elegance and the finesse of its aromas, a very good occasion to know Trebbiano Spoletino better and the quality of Tabarrini's production. The event continued with the first red wine - Il Padrone delle Vigne 2006 - followed by Montefalco Rosso Colle Grimaldesco 2004. The event was characterized by the preview tasting of the excellent Sagrantino di Montefalco Colle Grimaldesco 2004, a wine which convinced everyone for its elegance and class, as well as for its long persistence. The event ended with Sagrantino di Montefalco Passito Colle Grimaldesco 2003, confirming the excellence of results obtained by Giampaolo Tabarrini's winery.
