The elegance of Champagne Drappier's bubbles - the prestigious Maison of Urville - has majestically ended DiWineTaste's enogastronomical events of 2006/2007 season. Its fresh bubbles have in fact led the over 120 participants to the enchanting journey in the world of Champagne, served in enogastronomical matching with dishes expressly created for the occasion by Antonello Biancalana. The event started with Champagne Brut Nature - made from Pinot Noir and no Liqueur d'expedition - followed by Champagne Carte d'Or Brut, one of the most famous Drappier's wines. The evening continued with the first of the two vintage Champagne: the prestigious Cuvée de Prestige Brut Grand Sendrée 2000, which pleasingly surprised participants for its elegance, class and complexity. The event therefore continued with an absolute preview tasting reserved to DiWineTaste's readers - Champagne Cuvée de Prestige Brut Grand Sendrée Rosé 2002 - a vintage which will be considered among the best in Champagne area. A special evening which also let participants to understand Champagne - with the exuberance of its noble bubbles - is not only a wine to be enjoyed for celebrations, indeed it is an excellent mate of good table, capable of surprising enogastronomical matching.
