An interesting evening dedicated to the indigenous varieties of Trentino which had as protagonists the three main grapes of the region: Nosiola, Marzemino and Teroldego. The journey into the varieties of Trentino has been interpreted by Cavit's wines and narrated by Andrea Faustini - wine maker of the the winery of Ravina, in province of Trento - who illustrated to the participants the characteristics of the territories and vineyards from which originate their wines. The evening started with Trentodoc Altemasi Brut 2009, in this occasion served from prestigious magnum bottles, refermented in bottle on its lees for about two years, giving this wine a pleasing roundness well mixed to crispness.
The event proceeded with the most famous white indigenous variety of Trentino - Nosiola - a wine with an immediate and crisp character, in perfect balance between acidity and alcohol, giving to the senses a remarkable agreeableness.
