Marsala, proposed as a table wine in a meal, continues to fascinate DiWineTaste's readers who took part to this new event dedicated to the great fortified wine from Sicily. The four Cantine Pellegrino's Marsala wines have been proposed in enogastronomical matching with the foods expressly created for the occasion by Antonello Biancalana and prepared by Locanda dei Golosi's chefs, Emiliano Buccolini and Francesco Pelli, surprising and exciting the senses of participants. A truly special evening and fully successful thanks to the presence of four Cantine Pellegrino's Marsala wines. The opening of the event has been assigned to Marsala Vergine Soleras, which allowed the introduction of the absolute protagonist wine of the event - Marsala Vergine Riserva del Centenario 1980 - that with its 26 years of age has enchanted participants with complex and extraordinary aromas. The event was ended by the other two Marsala wines of the evening: Marsala Superiore Riserva Oro and Marsala Fine Rubino.
