The fifteenth season of DiWineTaste events starts with an evening dedicated to the wines of Antonio Fattori, the many-sided vintner of Terrossa di Roncą and guest of our events for the third time. The Soave and Amarone wines made by Fattori winery in fact celebrated our fifteen years of events, in which we accounted wines, areas, vintners and grapes to our readers, bringing to their glasses wines which allowed and favored a better relationship between producers and wine lovers. An event and celebration to which took part more than 150 readers coming from all over Italy. To represent Fattori winery, took part to the event Dr. Giorgia Costa - marketing manager - who illustrated to participants the viticultural passion and wine making vision of Antonio Fattori and the areas giving life to his wines: Soave and Valpolicella. The evening started with Lessini Durello Metodo Classico Brut Roncą 2010, interesting interpretation of Durella grape which, thanks to its remarkable acidity, proves to be very versatile in the production of sparkling wines. The event proceeds with Soave Danieli 2014, made from 100% Garganega, a wine of perfect cleanness and execution, offering to the glass a refined elegance, expressed by the balance of crispness and roundness. It is then the turn of red wines produced by Antonio Fattori, starting from Valpolicella Col de la Bastia 2014 - a blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella - a pleasing and direct wine, giving to the glass the vision of the winery of Terrossa di Roncą about the interpretation of the well known area in which are made the red wines of Verona. A wine making philosophy also found - amplified and majestic - in Amarone della Valpolicella 2009, made with the same grapes and aged in cask for 36 months. An Amarone of remarkable structure and, at the same time, of notable elegance, a perfect fusion of roundness and body, a wine that, in this vintage 2009, promises a remarkable longevity. The evening ended with Recioto di Soave Motto Piane 2011, produced with 100% Garganega, confirming the impeccable cleanness characterizing the wines of Antonio Fattori, a sweet wine of extraordinary elegance and class. The event has been conducted by Antonello Biancalana, who also conceived the dishes paired to Fattori wines and made by the kitchen staff led by Chef Emiliano Buccolini. The service in the restaurant room has been led by Roberto Bellezza - restaurant manager of Locanda dei Golosi - and maītre Miro Le Rose.
