After two years, a new event dedicated to the wines of Montepulciano produced by Bindella winery and, in particular, to Vino Nobile, among the most prestigious and important wines of Italian enology. To the event took part Dr. Giovanni Capuano - wine maker and production manager - and Dr. Francesca Coppi, sales manager of Bindella winery. The event has also been the occasion for understanding the experimental job done in the winery, in particular an interesting and pleasing white wine, to which has been dedicated the initial part of the event and produced with particular wine making techniques. The event continued with the classic production of this prestigious Tuscan winery, a story mainly told by red wines. The second wine of the event was in fact Rosso di Montepulciano Fossolupaio 2009, mainly produced with Sangiovese and vinified in steel tanks. It is then the turn of the first of the two Vino Nobile wines, beginning with vintage 2008 - a preview tasting for the occasion of this event - produced with the classic grapes Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo Nero e Mammolo, aged in cask for 18 months, a wine of remarkable elegance in which can be fully appreciated the character of Sangiovese. The journey to Bindella's wines continues with Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2007, mainly produced with Sangiovese grape and aged in cask for 24 months, a wine of strong personality and elegance, in which the full body is added to a class of impeccable balance. Just like two years ago, the end of the event has been assigned to Vin Santo di Montepulciano Dolce Sinfonia 2006 - the wine Bindella has dedicated to the great Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi - an extraordinary sweet wine belonging to the tradition of Montepulciano, produced with Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca, aged for 3 years in the traditional "caratelli" barrels. The five wines of Bindella winery have been paired to dishes expressly created for each wine by Antonello Biancalana.
